Yard Supervisor, Doncaster

Gi Group, Doncaster are looking for a permanent Yard Supervisor for a leading end-to-end supplier to the business, community and industrial sectors. Our Client operate in 8 countries and employ a highly skilled workforce of more than 1100. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a long term career. Position: Yard Supervisor (with Counterbalance) Job Type: Permanent Hours: 45 hours per week. Location: Doncaster Pay Rate: £9.50- £10 per hour Reporting to: Transport Manager and Regional Operations Manager Main Duties: ? Managing stock movements in and out of the depot ? Combination of indoor and outdoor tasks ? Arranging deliveries on our vehicles ? Being the main point of contact for drivers and head office ? Picking orders ? Processing off hires ? Completing relevant paperwork and submitting within desired time frame Essential Experience: ? Supervisory Experience ? Experience in FLT Counterbalance Essential Skills: ? Good working level of ICT knowledge including Excel, Word and Outlook ? Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships ? Professional confident manner ? Good communicator on all levels ? Committed to delivering the utmost service/support to the business and customers ? Reliable team player ?
