DSP Pharmacist/Relief - Leedale Online Pharmacy, Doncaster

THE COMPANY Weldricks is a family owned pharmacy with over 63 stores and more than 600 dedicated employees in stores across South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and East Riding. the distance selling pharmacy is based in Doncaster with very close links to the M18 and A1. The bus and train station are within walking distance and there is onsite/nearby parking available. THE PERSON: The successful candidate will need to be able to effectively engage with a large team working alongside peers, ACT's, technicians and pharmacy staff. This will include working collaboratively with a team of Pharmacists. They will need to have the ability to build relationships with outside organisations such as GP surgeries as well as working closely with other Weldricks branches. Effective communication skills are essential to working collaboratively and they must have flexibility to cover a range of shifts. THE ROLE: The role will be a full time position which will include a 1 in 4 Saturday working pattern in our online pharmacy. The role will comprise of 3 days working as a Pharmacist in the distance selling pharmacy and 1-2 days working as a relief Pharmacist in our community based branches. The distance selling pharmacy role will be working in a rapidly developing environment, using cutting edge technology to deliver original pack and MDS trays across our pharmacy network alongside a team of Pharmacists, ACT's, technicians and pharmacy staff. Key duties will include engagement with patients, delivery of services (NHS and private), clinical checking and reconciliation of prescriptions with a focus on medication optimisation. The relief role will be based in our community pharmacies across South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, offering cover in branch in the absence of the regular pharmacist. This will include engaging with the team and building relationships with colleagues, ensuring you deliver a high standard of customer care and support the branch with consistency of offering services provided. The web shop hours would be 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am ? 2pm.
