HGV Mechanic, Doncaster

Role: HGV Mechanic Location: Doncaster Salary: £15-£16 per hour Shifts: M-F Early & Lates (7am-3.30pm/10.30am-7pm - 40 hrs) Contract: Permanent My client, a well established and very successful Fleet Maintenance company is actively seeking to employ a qualified, skilled and experienced HGV Technician to work within their modern state of the art facility in the Doncaster area. Working on an early and late shift pattern (07:00 - 15:30 & 10:30 - 19:00) the successful applicant will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles raging from 7.5t to HGV Tractor units and everything in between. Duties will include general servicing and maintenance, correction of running defects, six weekly inspections, MOT preparation and presentation, vehicle overhauls and diagnostics on a multi brand fleet of vehicles. The successful applicant must have full industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level Three). Must have multi brand experience (Extensive Mercedes experience beneficial) and have a full UK driving licence. A commercial vehicle driving licence, either class 1 or 2 would be beneficial but by no means essential.
