Logistics Coordinator (DAYS), Dover

Logistics Coordinator - 1+ year experience required - Dover - Permanent Role.

Location: Whitfield, Dover

Working hours: Monday to Friday,

Weekly rotating hours: 0700-1600 / 0800-1700 / 0900-1800 / 1000-1900

Salary: £28,000-£30,000

Purpose of the Role:

To plan and manage time critical logistics solutions throughout Europe and worldwide, operating within strict time constraints and ensuring all schedules and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and manage time critical logistics and transport operations across the UK and Europe

• Monitor shipments and ensure all schedules, deadlines and service levels are achieved
• Work closely with the Team Leader to support operational best practice and service excellence
• Maintain awareness of European driving regulations and transport restrictions to support effective route planning
• Escalate delays or operational issues promptly and provide suitable resolution options
• Build and maintain strong relationships with transport carriers and suppliers
• Identify and communicate any gaps in carrier coverage to the supplier management team
• Ensure carrier non-conformances are accurately recorded and escalated in line with quality procedures

Essential requirements:

· Previous experience within logistics, transport or freight coordination is desirable.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Good problem solving and decision-making abilities
• Additional language skills would be advantageous
