SEND Teaching Assistant, Behavioural needs, Dudley

Are you a Teaching Assistant who would like to work with pupils with additional needs or challenging behaviour? I am currently recruiting bank staff to work in SEN schools, PRUs and Alternative Provisions across Sandwell and Dudley. This is an ideal opportunity if you are looking to gain further experience working with pupils who have additional needs or challenging behaviour. The role can be ad hoc day to day, short and long term so you can work across several schools. We have built up an excellent relationship with a number of schools across the region and have placed many candidates in these schools, some of whom have had the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff. As these roles involve working with pupils who are not able to access education in mainstream schools, the behaviour can be difficult. We do look for candidates who have strong personalities, be able to work through issues the pupils display and be able to stand up to the physical demands of the work. Experience has shown me that our Teaching Assistants will find a school where the environment and support provided by the team is right for them and they excel in these roles. This results in working for particular schools on a regular basis, long term and in some cases have turned into a permanent role, should this be your aim we will support you with achieving this.
