Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Dudley

Smile Education are currently seeking a part time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work across Year 1 and Year 2 Classes at our partner school in Dudley. The school are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant who can provide additional support to lower ability pupils. The role is part time (2 days per week) with an immediate start available for the right candidate, the role is expected to end in December 2020 but may be extended beyond that date. Your main responsibilities will be to lead small group sessions across Year 1 and Year 2, providing additional learning support in Numeracy and Literacy and to report back to the Class Teacher(s) on pupil progression. You will spend time with the Class Teacher(s) to plan learning strategies for individual pupils to best support them on their academic journey. In return, the school offers a friendly and forward-thinking approach, with open discussions across staff at all levels on how to best improve the school and provide the best learning environment for all pupils.
