Year 5 Teaching Assistant, Brierley Hill

Smile Education are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time position in our partner school based in Brierley Hill. The school are seeking a friendly and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support within Year 5, leading small group sessions, providing additional support to lower ability learners and to support within the classroom when required. The focus of this role will be to encourage and support in a creative and enthusiastic manner, helping pupils to engage in learning activities and to provide them the best quality education and school experience. The role has an immediate start date for the right candidate and will initially be until December 2020, there is a possibility that the role will be extended until the end of the academic year. In return, the school will fully support you in your new role, offering guidance and training and regular opportunities to discuss pupil progression with the Class Teacher and Senior Leadership, where development plans can be created and implemented. About You: - Previous Year 5 / Year 6 Teaching Assistant experience - Friendly, enthusiastic, and creative approach to learning - Dedicated to the success of all pupils About the role: - Full time Teaching Assistant position - Provide support and guidance within a small group setting (Year 5) - Reporting and planning with other members of staff To be considered for this role you will need to hold the relevant qualification(s).
