Food Technology Teacher: Inspire KS3–KS4 GCSE Skills, Dudley

• Plan and deliver Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach across KS3 and KS4
• Prepare students for GCSE coursework and practical assessments
• Maintain classroom and kitchen safety in line with school policies
• Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities, including SEN
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress and attainment
• Contribute to wider school activities, including intervention sessions where required

• Deliver practical and theory-based Food Technology lessons
• Support students in developing cooking skills, nutrition knowledge, and food safety awareness
• Ensure safe use of equipment and maintain hygiene standards in practical lessons
• Use assessment data to inform lesson planning and targeted support
• Work with colleagues on curriculum planning and resource development
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and coursework

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching Food Technology in a UK secondary school
• Ability to teach across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Knowledge of GCSE Food Technology specifications and assessment requirements
