AsourEngineer,youwill:

• Providefastandefficientinstallation,diagnostics,repairsandpreventivemaintenancetoallthemachinery,plantandequipmentwithinthefactory,keepingtheSeniorWorksEngineerfullyinformedandup-to-date;
• Carryoutbasicelectricalfaultdiagnosisandrepairs;
• WorkwiththeSeniorWorksEngineertofacilitatelargeormajorrepairstoplantandequipment;
• AssistinthedevelopmentandimplementationofaplannedmaintenanceprogrammeinconsultationwiththeSeniorWorksEngineer;
• Demonstratetheeffectivenessofplannedmaintenancethroughreducingnumbersofbreakdownsandproblem-freeequipmentinstallations;
• Purchasesundries,machinepartsandservices,inliaisonwiththeSeniorWorksEngineer,withdueregardforstocklevelsandoverallbudget;
• Arrange,assistanddirectexternalcontractorsforspecialistworkorinstallationsinconsultationwiththeSeniorWorksEngineerandOperationsDirector;
• Participateinthetechnicalaspectsofcapitalinvestmentdecisions;
• AdviseseniormanagementonHealthandSafetyissuesorconcerns.

Ifyouhavethefollowingskillsandattributes,thenwewanttohearfromyou.

• Recent,relevantandprovenexperienceasamaintenanceengineerorsimilarrole.
• Higherlevelqualificationinengineeringormanufacturing.
• Solidunderstandingofpneumatics,hydraulics,andmechanics.
• Familiarityusingvariouspowerandhandtools.
• Abilitytostandforlonghoursandliftheavyloads.
• Problem-solvingandorganisationalskills-aself-starterwhoiswellorganised,positive,flexibleandhighlymotivatedtogetthejobdoneefficientlyandsafelyusingowninitiative,andaspartofateam,withaflexibleapproachtoworkinghoursandabilitytoworksomeovertime.
