Location: Ealing / Hybrid
Salary: £47,464-£49,500
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (until 31st March 2027)

We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team, supporting operational business areas through high-quality financial reporting, analysis and business partnering. You’ll play an important role in helping us maintain strong financial control while supporting operational teams to deliver value for money for our customers.
Working closely with the Senior Management Accountant (Operational Services) and key stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll be responsible for producing management accounts, supporting budgets and forecasts, and providing financial insight to support effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting commentary for relevant business areas in line with Finance team timetables
- Contribute to the preparation of statutory year-end accounts and act as a key contact for external auditors for assigned entities
- Support the preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets and forecasts in partnership with budget holders
- Produce financial analysis, key ratios, and performance indicators for management and Board reporting
- Deliver functional financial reporting aligned with management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and benchmarking requirements
- Provide financial insight and support to operational managers to help improve financial performance and decision-making
- Ensure robust financial controls are in place and regularly reviewed across supported business areas
- Contribute to improvements in finance systems, processes, and reporting capability
- Support finance projects and wider initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and delivering value for money
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting deadlines are met, including reconciliations and period-end processes
More About You
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
- Part-qualified and actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA or CIMA) - Essential
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information clearly
- Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders across different departments
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to use financial insight to support business decisions
- Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to learn new systems and financial software quickly (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable)
- Understanding of the social housing sector is advantageous
- Experience working within housing, property services, or a similar customer service environment (desirable)
