Warehouse Operative, East Grinstead

Salary: GBP13.46 - GBP13.46 per hour

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a global leader in life sciences, for a Warehouse Operative. In this position, you’ll play a key role in the daily production of microbiological diagnostic products, by dispensing, drying, packaging and labelling items within a controlled clean area. Your work will help deliver critical solutions for infectious disease diagnosis and bacterial contamination detection, supporting public health and safety.

Warehouse Operative Shifts:

• Monday - Thursday 8.15am to 5pm, Friday 8.15am to 3pm

Warehouse Operative Rate of Pay:

• £13.46 per hour

Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts (counterbalance and reach trucks) safely and in line with training
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Pick, pack, label and load shipments in line with procedures
• Maintain an organised and up-to-date filing system
• Organise and segregate finished product storage areas
• Manage Goods In/Out and deliver materials to the correct recipients
• Ensure all materials are stored correctly and safely
• Generate shipping documents (e.g. invoices, Certificates of Origin)
• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile variances
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times

Warehouse Operative Requirements:

• FLT, Counterbalance and Reach licence
• Strong attention to detail and a quality‑focused approach
• Good organisation skills and the ability to work to daily production targets
• Effective communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
