A great field Service Engineer role! We want to find an accomplished and qualified Multi-skilled Engineer who has specific experience of fault finding AND ideally, specifically of modifying and upgrading of Siemens PLC`s (or similar) used in end of line packaging machinery. BASIC SALARY: up to£50,000BENEFITS:· Overtime to earn circa £60,000 · Hybrid company car · 10% Pension LOCATION: Home based and ideally living in the Midlands or North of England (although Midlands preferable) COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Stoke, Sheffield, Leicester JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer - Siemens PLCs, industrial capital equipment, packaging machineryA classic field Service Engineer role involving repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning of end of line packaging machinery including working with PLC`s, ideally capable of fault finding, modifying and upgrading of Siemens PLC`s, or similar. You will be covering the whole of the UK and Ireland, and will be expected to spend 2 to 3 nights per week away from home, plus working one weekend a month on average.· Full training will be offered on the job and occasionally at HQ in Europe. · Full training will also be provided on upgrading&modifying PLC`s.· Overtime is paid door to door. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer, Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer - Siemens PLCs, industrial capital equipment, packaging machinery · You MUST have a proven track record as a Field Service Engineer with hands on packaging machinery experience working in the food and/or beverage markets.· You will be a Multi-skilled Engineer with electrical&electronic engineering qualifications and ideally specific experience and training on fault finding, modifying&upgrading of Siemens PLC`s, or similar.· We will consider applicants with a track record as a Factory Maintenance Engineer who have hands on end of line packaging machinery experience, used in the food and/or beverage market and who have the PLC knowledge mentioned above.
