• Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheets and standard operating procedures.
• Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces, materials and cleaning products to keep areas well presented.
• Ensure that all laundry is cleaned, folded and stored properly.
• Treat residents and their personal space with dignity, respect and confidentiality.
• Adhere to health and safety, COSHH, fire safety and moving‑and‑handling procedures.
• Cover a range of responsibilities on short notice and work effectively as part of a team.

• Knowledge of health and safety, moving‑and‑handling techniques, fire safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.

• Ability to adapt and cover a range of duties on short notice.

• Valid DBS disclosure check (cost covered by the employer).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
