Solar PV Technician, Driffield

Solar PV Technician required for our client, a leading contractor within the renewable energy sector based in East Yorkshire. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrician with strong technical knowledge of Solar PV to join their team, progressing to Supervisor within the Electrical division and helping to manage the team. The Solar PV Engineer will fulfil a well-rounded role overseeing duties including carrying out pre contract site surveys, designing mechanical and electrical elements of Solar PV installations, managing engineers and subcontractors through installation, offering technical advise, preparing equipment lists, liaising with product suppliers and ordering goods and more. The role may also require an element of on the tools work including installation, repair, fault diagnosis and testing services for solar PV. This will be an office based role with travel to site involved, a company vehicle will be provided and travel expenses & fuel card, therefore full UK driving licence is required.
