Description
We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join our busy and expanding company based in Pocklington, East Yorkshire, YO42 postcode. The Production Operative role is full time and will become permanent after a 12 week probationary period. The hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will be working 8am to 5pm shifts for the first 2 weeks and then you will be placed onto a rotating shift pattern 6am to 2.30pm one week and 2pm to 10.30pm the next week. The Production Operative job involves working on a fast paced and noisy production line. You will be placing empty bottles onto the production line, making boxes, packing full bottles into the boxes, cello-taping the boxes together and placing them onto a production line. You will be trained on how to use the machines. The Production Operative role pays £8.72 per hour to start with. After 12 weeks though you will be given a shift bonus of £20 per week and a monthly production bonus. This could will increase your hourly rate to £9.00 per hour.
