We are looking for an Senior Accounts Assistant to join our team in NW London.

Role

Reporting to our Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring that transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions.
• Liaise with customers to ensure monies are received on time
• Assist with carrying out stock checks
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform any other duties related to accounting and finance as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software is preferable and Microsoft Excel.

• Be a team player with a strong work ethic and have a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and confidence, and to be part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a pre-requisite.
