Our AHP workforceconsists ofDietitians, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists and Speech and Language Therapists

The post-holder will be based in theNorth Central division, supporting theBarnet clinical teamsacross the neighbourhood system.This role is fully visible and will work 80% in Division supporting clinical competence and skills in practice and 20% supporting supervision, personal skillsdevelopmentand any training preparation (not from home unless specific flexible working request approved).

We areseeking an Occupational Therapistwithclinicalexperience inadult and children's physical rehabilitation, complex disability management and/or health prevention in community settings,who is eager to develop their skills inAHP workforce development. Using aquality improvement approach,the Practice Development AHP will support the clinical workforce in deliveringsafe, evidence-based, patient-centred interventionsin the community.

Main duties of the job

• Work as part of thepractice development network, alongsidemulti-professionalcolleagues
• Support theclinical workforceto enhance skills and competence throughmentoring, training, and practice development initiatives
• Applyquality improvementmethodologyto drive evidence-based practice in community care
• Collaborate withprofessional leads and teamsto optimise workforce potential
• Contribute to thecontinuous professional developmentof clinical staff, including supporting learning and education programmes

• Educated to Masters degree level or equivalent
• Clinical Leadership training

Experience

• Significant senior clinical experience within community services
• Experience in taking forward clinical and service change
• Experience of working with staff and stakeholders at all levels.

Skills and Knowledge

Essential

• Knowledge of the national priorities relating to provision of community services
• Skills in articulating a vision to staff working at different levels
• Knowledge of practice development and change management.
