We provide complex and innovative care packages to vulnerable adults living with physical disabilities and lifelong conditions including acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and learning disabilities. Your day will involve delivering a wide variety of assistance such as personal care & hygiene, moving and handling, social support, cleaning/laundry, going to appointments and being responsive to both planned and ad-hoc customer care needs. For this role, we are looking for a (female only*) Nightshift Relief Support Worker to support our shared team service based in the Dalry area of Edinburgh, 5-minutes walking distance from Haymarket Station. Experience in supporting customers living with mental health conditions is desirable. As we operate during the day and overnight, we are looking for the successful candidate to be adaptive and flexible to support the team and needs of our customers. Rota Pattern: * Sleepovers ? our teams usually oversee one sleepover a week (10pm-7am); * Weekends ? a weekend on and off (based on suitable service cover); * Shift patterns ? a minimum of two team members in the morning and two in the evening where a female Support Worker is always required to be on-site. The ideal candidate must have: * A passion for delivering high quality care & support * Strong communication, interpersonal and IT skills * An ability to work independently and as part of a team * A relevant qualification (SVQ2), this is not essential as training will be given * Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced working environment, including availability to support the service during the day and overnight, but mainly nights.
