Learning Support - Alternative Provision - Secondary Phase Are you keen to work in the field of Education and Special Educational Needs, and more specifically, with students who have faced trauma and are vulnerable? You would be working in an Alternative Provision School where each student has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and many will have had cautions. There will be a real diverse, blend of cultures and wellness within this role. In this role you will be working with young learners in the 9 to 16 year age group and could be dealing with outbursts - being spat at, lashed out at, being attacked with a chair - or worse? This is the reality that will face you and the emotional pull will be very hard hitting. You will be working with Autistic and Vulnerable Young Learners in Woking who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Issues. *Working with young learners who have been through trauma *Opportunity to meet Clinical/Forensic/Education Psychologists on site *Ideal for candidates who want to work within Youth Justice *Raising the attainment of students 16-25 before they go down the wrong path *Outstanding facilities and set up within the school and provision *If you have a Criminology/Psychology degree this will be excellent use of your degree *Working with likeminded graduates in Youth Justice and Criminal Justice, aspiring Forensic Psychologists - working with graduates who will have similar goals to yourself If you are interested, up for a challenge and want a rewarding role, get in touch as soon as possible
