A fantastic mainstream secondary school is looking for a strong candidate to join their very successful learning support department. Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant Cheshire East area 37 hours per week Up to £1400 per month, depending on experience The secondary school has a track record of providing high quality support to all pupils who require additional assistance with their education. From pupil-specific EHCPs to casual academic intervention, the school prides itself on the successes the learning support department have garnered over the last few years. As a TA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring these successes continue and that the pupils you support are given as much of an opportunity as possible to succeed in their educational pursuits. This is an ideal role for graduates or youth workers who are looking for new challenges, wanting to work in the education sector or are considering a future career in the teaching profession. Previous TA experience is not necessary, but we would welcome applications from anyone with relevant experience working with children, for example, youth groups, support work, personal settings or tuition. Based a short distance from the M6 and M56, the school is easily accessible to candidates from the South Manchester, Macclesfield, Warrington, Trafford, Northwich, Stockport, Sandbach and Congleton areas.
