Linen Porter, City of Edinburgh

Reporting to the Director of Style (Executive Housekeeper), as a Linen Porter you will play a key role in ensuring cleanliness throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces and back‑of‑house areas.

• Sorting, counting, recording and checking in and out of all linen.
• Washing, drying, pressing, folding and removing stains from clothes and other textiles.
• Reporting any maintenance issues.
• Cleaning and maintaining storage, corridors and public areas.
• Stocking linen trolleys, cupboards and guest service items.
• Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety protocols.
• Providing guests with requested service and handling any special requests.
• Being a W brand ambassador, ensuring the brand’s voice is present in interactions with guests and talent.
