Catering Assistant – Inchview Care Home

Remuneration and Hours

Salary: £25,661 - £25,924 (pro rata for part time). Hours: 32 per week.

Social care is a challenging and rewarding career. Our kitchen staff work with some of Edinburgh's most vulnerable residents. Working in adult social care allows you to make a real difference to the lives of adults and is extremely rewarding.

Who we are looking for

You don't need previous experience in adult social care. Whether your background is in retail, tourism, manufacturing or any other industry, all you need are the right values. The roles cover a variety of working patterns and shifts, including full‑time and part‑time opportunities.

Pre‑employment checks

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of three months or more abroad within the last five years, an overseas criminal record check will be required. All offers of employment are conditional on satisfactory completion of these checks.

Additional Information

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
