Tesco Colleague Nights - Kirkwall

Availability window:

• Sun 22:00–06:00
• Fri 22:00–06:00
• Sat 22:00–06:00

Colleague pay starts at $13.28 per hour, rising to $14.55 in stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of $2.35 per hour. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know customers.
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer‑focused decisions and completing key store routines.
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
• Showing a passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
• Building rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
• Using initiative and making the right decisions for customers.
• Working well in a team and communicating openly, having fun, and celebrating success.
