Labourer – Dounreay, Thurso

Contract Type: Fixed term until December 2027 approx. Start Date: July/ August 2026 pending successful SC Clearance. Salary: £20.00 p/h.

Altrad are looking to recruit a Labourer to support scaffold and site operations on a newly established project at Dounreay. The successful candidate will provide general labouring support to the scaffold team and wider site operations, assisting with material handling, housekeeping and preparation of work areas to support the safe and efficient delivery of works.

• Supporting scaffolders and site teams with day‑to‑day activities
• Movement and handling of materials and equipment
• General housekeeping and maintaining work areas
• Assisting with loading/unloading deliveries
• Supporting safe access and site set‑up activities
• Following site safety rules, procedures and instructions
• Assisting with general site duties as required

• Must be SC cleared or willing to undergo
• Must be asbestos operative trained ARCA or ACAD
• COTS Cards (Scaffold Labourers)

Project operates on a 10-day fortnight rota. Week 1 - Monday to Sunday - 07:00 to 17:00. Week 2 - Monday to Wednesday - 07:00 to 17:00.
