We are currently looking to expand our dynamic team in Moreton in Marsh and are seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer with ideally 1 year of industry experience and a BSc/BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferably 1st Class).

About the Role:

You will play a key role in the design and delivery of structural engineering projects, taking them from concept through to completion. You’ll be working across a variety of sectors and building materials, using modern analysis and design software. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in foundation design and a strong working knowledge of steel and masonry construction.

You will be actively involved in using a large range of advanced software tools daily. There will be an expectation to continually develop and enhance your software skills as part of your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural assessments and calculations for new and existing buildings.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and liaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Use structural analysis software such as AutoCAD, Masterseries, RFEM, or Tekla TEDDS.
• Work collaboratively with our in-house team and external stakeholders to deliver practical, cost-effective engineering solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

• BSc/BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Foundation design experience is essential.
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software (experience in AutoCAD, Masterseries, RFEM, or Tekla TEDDS advantageous).
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Strong time managementand organisational skills.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to develop professionally.
• Timber design experience is a huge bonus.
