Location: Worcestershire - teaching in multiple schools across a regional area each week.

Remuneration: £27,000 - £32,000 per year with potential to progress to £32,000. OTE earnings for year 1: £28,500. £1,500 per annum bonus based on performance.

Rocksteady Music School is the UK's biggest employer of full-time, permanent musicians. We teach rock and pop band lessons in primary schools.

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a fun, inspiring rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Introduce children to instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Work independently as part of a remote team, supported by central office.
• Serve as a rock and pop star role-model, empowering children to perform live in end-of-term concerts.
• Support children in developing self-belief, resilience and wellbeing through performance.
• Represent Rocksteady by building strong relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
• Prepare for active days, including driving between schools and handling equipment.

• Competent on at least two instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, or vocals.
• Enthusiasm to learn teaching methods and complete the training programme.
• Resilience to manage varied demands of the role.
• Confidence to communicate with children, teachers and parents as yourself.
• Integrity, prioritising safety and wellbeing of children.
• Organised, independent worker with good time management and administration skills.
• UK/EU driving licence and own transport.

• Full-time, salaried position.
• Monday - Friday daytime schedule.
