We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at St David's Veterinary Hospital.
Location: St David's Veterinary Hospital in Exeter
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Tuesdays 8am-2.30pm, Wednesdays 8am-2.30pm, Thursdays 8am-6.30pm, Every 8th Saturday 8.30am-5.30pm

About the roleDay-to-day duties of the role will include:
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice
- Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
