With a competitive rate of up to£38 per hour for this full-time position, you will be working in a pivotal role preparing assessments for both Court and Fostering Panels. What you will do:

• Prepare comprehensive assessments for fostering and legal proceedings, ensuring the best outcomes for children and their families.
• Support carers through the temporary approval process, providing regular supervision and guidance.
• Work to meet regulatory requirements, delivering a high-quality service that prioritises the needs of children.
• Advocate for children and young people, demonstrating exemplary social work practice in line with statutory obligations.
• Encourage a restorative practice approach, promoting collaboration and open dialogue.

Your skills and experience:

• You hold a social work qualification and are registered with Social Work England.
• You have successfully completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
• Experienced in social care and multi-agency environments, with knowledge of fostering regulations.
• You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside robust recording and planning capabilities.
• Knowledgeable in relevant children's social work legislation, models, and theories.
• You have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car for community visits.
