Grange Community Primary Schoolis seeking a caring, motivated, and dedicatedEYFS Teaching Assistantto join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and inspiring children in Early Years, helping them to develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and creative learning activities in line with the National curriculum
- foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential
- provide support for pupils'academic, social, and emotional development both in and out of the classroom
- assist with observations, assessments, and record-keeping to monitor children's progress and attainment
- promote independence, resilience, and confidence through high-quality learning experiences
- work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to meet each child's individual needs
- uphold the school's values, behaviour expectations, and safeguarding policies at all times.
You will:
- have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development in Key Stage 1or 2
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- be a positive team player with the ability to take initiative and adapt when needed
- be patient, kind, and flexible approach to working with children
- have a relevant qualification, e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
- have experience working within a primary school or KS1 setting (advantageous but not essential).
