Accounts Assistant, London TW14 0RB

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate data entry and processing of accounts payable. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic financial services environment, utilising leading accounting software and systems such as Sage, and specialised data management tools. The Part- Time Accounts Assistant will support the Account Manager with various accounting tasks, payment allocation, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and entered supplier invoices and resolve queries
• Bank reconciliations
• Record payments, manage petty cash, and employee expenses.
• Support filing of invoices and payment run.
• Credit control – chasing overdue payment from customers
• Monitor Account Email

Requirements

• Ideally with AAT level 2 or 2 year working experience
• Competency with accounting software (Sage50) and spreadsheets (Excel)
• Ability to communicate clearly and discreetly
• Analytical thinking to resolve discrepancies
• Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential data
• Strong organizational, multitasking skills and detail-oriented
