Clifton Arms Hotel- Kitchen Porter, Fleetwood

You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation to ensure smooth service in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

• Operate industrial dishwashers and clean crockery, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, surfaces, and storage areas
• Support chefs with basic food preparation (e.g. washing vegetables, peeling, portioning)
• Assist with setting up and clearing down kitchens for service, functions, and banquets
• Dispose of waste safely and correctly, following hotel recycling and food waste procedures
• Ensure cleaning schedules and hygiene standards are met at all times
• Re‑stock kitchen areas with clean equipment during busy service
• Follow all health & safety, food hygiene, and hotel cleanliness standards
• Work safely under pressure during peak service times

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
• Strong understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
• Able to work well as part of a large kitchen team

• Previous experience in a hotel, banqueting, or high‑volume kitchen
• Basic food safety or health & hygiene knowledge

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
• Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Willingness to support different kitchen areas as required
