Electrician required for a leading Facilities Management company to carry out planned, reactive and preventative maintenance on a large commercial building in Lerwick, Shetland. Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Electrician to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This role will be working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (38.75 hours per week), with participation in an on-call rota.

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Electrical testing, inspections and fault finding
• Completing NICEIC documentation and reports
• Working safely in line with health & safety regulations
• Using PDA/tablet systems to manage workloads
• Supporting permit-to-work systems and site compliance
• Assisting wider FM teams when required
• Maintaining plant, equipment and building services

• City & Guilds 2382-22 18th Edition
• Experience working within Facilities Management or critical environments
• Knowledge of EMS and BMS systems
• Experience carrying out electrical testing and certification
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Good IT skills
