The RoleAs Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading the engineering function at a flagship Scottish site, driving innovation, efficiency, and world-class standards across engineering operations.
- Lead and develop the site engineering strategy to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability, and compliance.
- Manage and mentor a team of skilled engineers across both planned and reactive maintenance.
- Deliver CAPEX projects to support site growth and technological advancement.
- Ensure robust engineering processes and compliance with food safety, health & safety, and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with production, operations, and NPD teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
To be considered for the Head of Engineering role, you must have:
- Liquid fill experience within food or drink manufacturing – essential.
- Proven track record in a senior engineering leadership position within FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, reliability, and maintenance systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
- A passion for continuous improvement and innovation in engineering practices.
- Salary of £85,000 + bonus
