Personal Assistant for Care at Home, Fraserburgh

£13.45 per hour – Part Time Permanent – Sessional (bank) hours – Locations: Fraserburgh, Banchory, Stonehaven – Availability: home runs and children services, evenings and school holidays

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) support people with support needs to achieve their goals and outcomes. Each day is different, but the core of the role is to provide personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and social support.

• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
• Prepare meals and administer medication
• Provide moving and handling support – full training will be provided
• Offer positive behavioural support
• Expand social networks and connections for supported people
• Support children after school and social activities on weekends
• Cover shifts during evenings (4pm–10pm) and weekends

• Commitment, dedication, and a desire to support individuals to live their best life and become an inclusive member of society
• Ability to adapt your communication style to build successful relationships with those you support
• Positive, flexible outlook and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

We recruit based on values and transferable skills, not prior care experience. You will receive full training for moving and handling and, where required, for additional support duties. The role also requires your registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of start. Enable may fully fund SVQ Health and Social Care qualifications required for SSSC registration.
