Job summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivate pharmacist to assume the role of Specialist Pharmacist - Operational Support and Education&Training at Chelsea&Westminster Hospital (Chelsea Hospital site) on a Fixed Term basis (12 months)
As the Specialist Pharmacist - Operational Support and Education&training, the successful post holder will undertake the following duties:
- Leads, co-ordinates and manages the development and provision of the Pharmacy Residency Service.
- Contributes to the provision of the clinical pharmacy service to patients within the Medicine Directorate ensuring the safe, effective, legal and accurate use of medicines within the speciality.
- Supports the provision of Pharmacy dispensary services to ensure a high quality of clinical service provision, a favourable experience for patients and service users and efficient processing of prescriptions and in-patient medicine requests for patients
- Manages the provision of clinical training and supervision to Resident and Trainee Pharmacists on rotation in the dispensary.
