SEO and Content Executive, Gateshead

THE ROLE As SEO and Content Executive, you will have the opportunity to work on a growing portfolio of ecommerce stores, with the aim of helping to improve organic reach. This will see you working within a close-knit team of talented and highly motivated people. Your duties will include: Owning, developing and implementing effective SEO strategies for a portfolio of ecommerce stores Monitoring the stores and advising on best practice technical SEO techniques for the development team to implement Developing and adopting outreach strategies to build quality links Maintaining and improving the product catalogue data using suggestions from the team and your own initiative Managing and writing website content using the content management system Contributing to and assisting with the overall marketing strategy including social media, PPC, affiliate marketing, email marketing and retargeting THE EXPERIENCE To be considered for the position of SEO and Content Executive, you must bring the following skills and experience: Competent experience of Search Engine Optimisation Confident using SEO tools (Moza and SEM Rush would be preferred) Confident and experienced with Google Analytics / Search Console Excellent Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills Data analysis skills An excellent writing style Whilst not essential, the following would also be preferred: Knowledge of HTML/CSS and implementation of landing pages Experience with Magento 1, 2 or a similar CMS Passionate and knowledgeable about fashion THE SALARY You will receive a basic annual salary of between £20,000 and £25,000 for this position, depending on your experience. There may be some negotiation on this for a more experienced candidate. THE CONTRACT This is full-time, permanent position, working 40 hours a week between Monday and Friday.
