English Tutor, Gateshead

Are you an experience Teacher or tutor of English looking to support pupils in a small group or 1:1 capacity? Teaching Personnel have been asked by a number of partner schools in the Gateshead and Durham area to begin recruiting individuals who are able to tutor pupils in English Literature or Language. As a result of the Coronavirus, many children's education has undoubtedly suffered and now schools are aiming to rectify this by providing additional support through a network of Tutors. The role will include: Planning sessions for up to 6 students  A mixture of hourly, morning and afternoon sessions with different pupils Developing exam technique via specific exam boards Tutor a mixture of low, middle and higher attaining pupils Ultimate goal is to raise their attainment levels to pre-Covid expectations Successful Candidates will likely have: A formal qualification in either English, English Language of English Literature Experience teaching or tutoring pupils of a secondary age A Child workforce only Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service If you are interested, please reply to this advert or contact Matthew on (phone number removed) to find out more.
