Sewing Machinist, Washington

Central Employment are currently recruiting for experienced Sewing Machinists to work at our client based in Washington. Working hours will be 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm. Pay Rate - £9.06 ? £10.45ph Desired Knowledge and Experience: * Experience of upholstery sewing * The ability to work in a fast paced environment * industrial sewing experience is required with a good knowledge of various sewing techniques * Ability to follow sewing specifications * Good hand to eye coordination * Ability to use industrial sewing machine and perform basic machine maintenance i.e. changing needle and thread and cleaning the machine * The ability to follow good sewing practices and company methods of work * Good communication skills * Good analytical skills and attention to detail i.e. quality standards Candidates should have the following qualities and capabilities: * Hardworking and organised * Proactive and self-motivated (working independently is key) * Problem solving * Experience in sewing Job Type: Full-time
