We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and forward‑thinking primary school in Havering on a full‑time, permanent basis.

• Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Delivering pre‑planned lessons and leading whole class sessions when required
• Working closely with class teachers to plan and prepare engaging learning activities
• Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs
• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom
• Act as a role model, setting high expectations of conduct and promoting positive pupil behaviour
• Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures about health & safety, welfare and wellbeing and safeguarding
• Provide additional support to the teachers in the classrooms
• Establish positive relationships with the pupils in lessons being covered

• HLTA status or equivalent experience
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability
• A commitment to inclusion and the values of the school

• Located in Havering with onsite parking available
