Software Engineer - Databases, Alcester

Watsons Recruitment Ltd are pleased to offer the opportunity to join this reputable small but growing software business as a Software Engineer to join their happy and relaxed team. Main Role * Logging and performing 1 st line diagnoses to support customers, developing applications for customers ? * Contributor to the delivery of effective and efficient software solutions for the organisation, customising, and configuring components and systems. * Implementation and management of bespoke software. ? * Analysing and clarifying initial requirements provided by the client. * Working closely with other senior software engineers with duties to ensure deadlines are met, modifications to the company?s bespoke software. * Visiting client sites throughout the UK a few times a month at most (expenses paid) * Identifying working processes and how the software can be adapted to meet the client's needs * Working with the front-end to write script and create bespoke reports Skills Needed * Computer qualification * 2-5 years working with databases and reporting * Ability to build reports and write database scripts * Knowledge of SQL, VB.Net or Crystal Reports * Good customer service skills If you have the above skills and experience and would love to lift your head from your desk and get out and about to meet people, get in touch as this may be the perfect job for you
