Supervising Social Worker - Therapeutic Fostering Agency A Therapeutic Fostering Agency are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their 'Outstanding' service in East Sussex. This is a Specialist Fostering Service which provides more intensive therapeutic placements to children and young people with complex needs. Therefore they offer excellent training opportunities around therapeutic practice, such as training in Dyadic Developmental Practice Psychotherapy. This is a full time permanent position. As a Supervising Social Worker you will be responsible for a small case load of a Foster Carers who are located in the local area. Duties will include: Providing emotional and practical support to the agency's Foster Carers, ensuring that the child needs are being met Undertaking monthly and announced visits to foster carer households Competing Annual Reviews for existing carers and Form F Assessments for new ones coming into the agency Participating in the Agency's Outs of Hours RotaIn addition to being a skilled and enthusiastic Qualified Social Worker with a strong interest in working within a therapeutic setting, candidates applying for this position must also have the following: Social Work Qualification Have a minimum of 1 years experience as a Children Social Worker Be able to demonstrate good understanding of Fostering Minimum Standards, Fostering Legislation and Safeguarding Hold a full UK Driving Licence To apply for this position please follow website instruction or for more information contact Josephine Hodge on (phone number removed) (j.hodge?(url removed))
