Data Programme Manager (IaaA), Glasgow

Our client, a highly respected Public Sector establishment, based in Glasgow (homeworking initially), require a Data Programme Manager (IaaA) for an initial 6 month period. The salary for the position is £173.15 day rate. The objectives of the project are: Support Data Programme which is divided into three Sub-Programmes. Support Microsoft 365 Project To support the increase in flexible working Developing appropriate records management principles for electronic data to ensure that data is compliant and secure. Implementing an effective security architecture including good information and records management practices with clear allocation of responsibilities and accountabilities with regards to information assets. Ensuring that the configuration of the platform takes a "privacy by design and data protection by default" approach which is supported by effective business processes, guidance and training. Developing a culture which supports and assists employees to make the best use of technology in a safe and secure way. Improve collaboration across teams and sites and with other organisations through consistent and structured use of the available tools. o Reduce use of email Deliver efficiency gains through being able to do more with less, including improved self- service and improved planning and control. Improve communication Experience required in the following: General team management Programme governance including supporting and ensuring team members work to programme plan Basic understanding of data in a corporate environment Understanding the basics of how relationship databases (in terms of data) work and how they can be linked together Agile methodology Understanding Microsoft 365 (including technical experience) Preparing a Business Case and Strategy to inform the future pathway of projects Please apply with your most recent CV and Cover Letter
