LSA /Learning Support assistant with BSL in Pembrokeshire

Are you a driven individual with experience working in small groups or 1:1 with special needs? We are recruiting for Learning Support Assistants with experience in working in SEND settings. The role dictates working day to day or within long term placements in a team as an LSA. You'll be given the chance to work with children from KS1 to KS5. The supply role involves working in small groups or 1:1 with children with a range of needs, including being Level 1 or Level 2 qualified in BSL. It's Important to offer motivation and purpose for each child, building on communication, functional, social and life skills for pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties. The position requires a positive outlook, a great sense of class room management and a willingness to get involved. Putting the student's welfare and health and safety first is paramount. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
