Senior Surgical Ward Nurse, Winchester

Daytime Healthcare are recruiting for a friendly, experienced and committed senior surgical ward nurse to join a private hospital in Winchester. This is a Permanent full time position, working 37/5 hours per week, covering a flexible shift pattern including long days and night shifts. Role Purpose: To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures. Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users. As a skilled member of the nursing team promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of all patients, employees and visitors. Job Requirements: * Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing. Or Registered Nurse Level 2 * Relevant Competencies for the role. * Evidence of relevant clinical professional development preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration. * Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice. * 2-2 years Surgical Ward Experience * Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability. * Excellent clinical applied knowledge which is evidenced based and takes account of national best practice standards. * Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent). * Basic workload / shift management skills. Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence. * Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems. * Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector. * Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations.
