Legionella Risk Assessor, Glasgow

Murray Recruitment has an opportunity for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join a well-known Facilities Management provider. This position is available on a freelance basis initially with a view to moving to a permanent contract for the right person at the end of this year. A mobile role working on commercial contracts that run from Glasgow ? West Lothian. Within this role you will be responsible for carrying out assessments of internal water management systems for the control of Legionella. The successful the candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient assessments and thereafter reports are carried out; whilst providing excellent customer service to the client. Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: To undertake Legionella risk assessments. Produce drawings and reports/ final documentation. Ensuring equipment conforms to agreed company standards. Providing a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction. Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensures concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary. Being fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times. Ensuring that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately. Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and policies. Skills, Experience and Qualifications: City & Guilds within Legionella Risk Assessment/ L8 would be advantageous ? however not essential. Previous experience of carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments within a client facing, commercial environment ? essential. UK Driving Licence ? essential. The package available: Position available on a freelance/contract basis initially ? salary paying £24,000 - £27,000 dependant on experience) Van + fuel card Mobile & Laptop Uniform Holidays Pension Working hours: Monday ?
