Financial Director, Glasgow

We are seeking a head of finance/finance director who will lead the organization through their next exciting phase.The CompanyBenefits on offer are generous, however this opportunity in itself will be a massive benefit to the successful candidate.This is a newly created opportunity which will have a seat within the board of directors. Your main reporting line will be to the board and specifically to the CEO and the Operations Director (although you will be autonomous on a day-to-day basis).The ResponsibilitiesReview the current company finances and design&implement the financial strategy.Review the asset register and assess fixed asset vs. stock for financial, insurance and other specific requirements.Implement strong financial controls and processes (the company currently has basic financial controls and processes).Implement company-wide finance policies.Ensure day‑to‑day cost controls, budgets and general ledger tasks are completed.Manage cost, cash‑flow forecasting and financial modelling.Provide bookkeeping duties initially as needed, with potential for a second hire later.The RequirementsProfessionally qualified accountant (preferably CA).Experiencein a finance function.Proactive and ambitious mindset with ability to deliver scheduled reports.Autonomy to run the finances while meeting reporting expectations.Location: West Lothian (must be based in and around the immediate area).Our client does not hold a license to offer study support, so only applicants who can work unrestricted within the UK and who are based in the immediate vicinity will be considered.If you are interested in hearing more detail about this role or would like to have a confidential chat about a potential career move, please do not hesitate in contacting me.SenioritylevelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinanceIndustriesEvents ServicesLivingston, Scotland, United Kingdom#J-18808-Ljbffr
