Housing Manager, Gloucester

Our client, based in the South West, is currently recruiting for an Intensive Housing Manager on a permanent basis. The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary is £20,000 for this role. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with complex needs and mental health issues. Duties will include (but not limited to): * Regularly visiting your portfolio of properties to liaise with tenants that suffer from mental health issues, learning disabilities and physical disabilities * Logging interactions on to a Housing Software system following each visit * Liaising with tenants and care providers on adaptations to improve the tenant?s property * Actively encouraging tenants to be involved in providing feedback on the quality of the service and ensuring they are involved in the review the housing management service * Demonstrating a detailed knowledge of Landlord and Tenants Acts 1985 and 1987, Leasehold Reform Act 2002 and other legislative best practices * Managing instances of ASB, ongoing matters of neighbour nuisance and any other breaches of tenancies, and taking the appropriate action * Working with care providers to ensure tenants get the best support possible This position covers a large patch ranging from the Midlands to South Wales (Gloucester, Worcester, South Wales) Experience required: * Experience of performing intensive housing management related duties * Ability to work effectively in a team * IT proficiency Rewards and Benefits: * 25p per mile * Small, friendly but expanding organisation * 1-2 days working from home per week Working hours: * 37 hours per week * 9am-5pm - flexibility is offered on this if travelling to a particular location Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
