Internal Sales Executive - CONSTRUCTION, Gloucester

A fantastic opportunity is now live for an Internal Sales Executive to be apart of a growing and well-established construction business based in Gloucester. The successful candidate will have experience within a merchants. Offering a fantastic base salary of £25k - £28k DOE. THE ROLE AS AN INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE - CONSTRUCTION: Manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business. Open new accounts and ensure they continue to develop profitably. Engage with customers face to face and over the phone. Accurately take and input orders onto the system. Providing quotes. Maximise add-on sales. Make proactive sales telephone calls to lapsed accounts and potential new customers. Collaborate closely with warehouse team to ensure correct products are delivered on time. Regularly engaging with external sales and credit control teams. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED: Previous internal sales experience. Sales experience in a construction related distribution (preferable) and competitor knowledge (preferable). Merchants / Construction background. Good level of numeracy and IT skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong Communication Skills. Ability to build & maintain key relationships with customers & suppliers. Offering a competitive package for the successful applicant.
