Responsibilities

Commit to approximately one hour per week to visit older people in their own homes.
Provide companionship, engage in conversation, and offer a friendly presence.
Assist with short walks, light tasks, or simple support to encourage recovery and reduce loneliness.
Support older people who may be medically vulnerable or recently discharged from hospital.

Qualifications

Friendly, caring, and compassionate toward older individuals.
Willingness and ability to spend about one hour per week.
