What you will do:

• Provide dedicated support to families affected by substance misuse, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and guidance.
• Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with families to promote positive outcomes and recovery.
• Work closely with community agencies and healthcare providers to create a comprehensive support network for families.
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Facilitate group sessions and educational workshops aimed at building coping skills and resilience among family members.

Requirements for the role of Thriving Families Worker:

• Recent and relevant experience in fields such as Substance Misuse, Addiction, or Recovery is essential. Experience with Needle Exchange or closely related areas is highly desirable.
• Possession of relevant qualifications or certifications related to substance misuse or family support would be an advantage.
